This weekend was the best one of the whole year–the weekend when every single leaf is at its peak gorgeousness. Everywhere I turned, there was an explosion of color, from the dead leaves scattered on the ground to the ones still clinging to the very highest tree branches. You can bet I soaked in every single minute of it.
Not only did I spend a couple of hours moseying around this old farm, but I spent all of Saturday afternoon wandering through a marsh with Moxie. The trails were carpeted with crimson and orange leaves, and we had a wonderful time crunching through them. Besides Moxie getting a little scare from some errant ducks, we had a blast.
The next day, I passed the morning with my mom and dad at the arboretum near their house. I took plenty of photos while I was there, and I was thinking I might do a post later this week of all my fall photos. Would you like to see them?
Is it fall where you are right now? Regardless, how’s your November going so far?
