Among the many wonderful things I inherited from my mom, a very petite stature is one of them. I stopped growing around 12, and I now stand at a full 5’1″. Okay, that’s a lie. I’m really only 5’½” (5’¾” on a good day!), and that comes with a whole host of little problems. Like needing help reaching the pasta on the top shelf at the grocery store or straining my neck when talking to tall people. Finding clothes that fit can be a challenge as well, but every once in a while, I hit the jackpot. And that’s exactly what this jumpsuit is.
When I put this on, I feel so statuesque, as if I can survey my whole kingdom from my lofty perspective. I’m not sure what it is about this ‘suit that makes me feel that way–maybe it’s the wide, cinched waist or the voluminous legs or both–but no other article of clothing makes me feel quite so dignified.
