Outfit: Puppy Love

Moxie is on a little daycare hiatus while her ear heals (don’t ask), so to keep her from going stir crazy in the house, I thought it would be a good idea to take her running with me.

Yesterday, it was fun.  We were playing a game in which the object was to overtake each other.  We both got a good workout in.

Today was not fun.  Moxie must have been tired from the previous day’s activities, because she decided to make a beeline for the first lush bit of lawn she could find and immediately fell to napping.  I don’t think I’ll ask her to accompany me tomorrow.

What better dress to wear than this little number with the frolicking dog print?  That leaping yellow dog reminds me a lot of my girl.

Dress: ModCloth

Shoes: old, Seychelles

Bag: old, Melie Bianco

  1. Super cute outfit! I love it all…the shoes, the dress, the bag! Moxie is such a cutie. (I love her pics on Instagram…I can’t get enough puppy pics in my life. Haha.) I’ve never been very good at running with furry companions, and always admire anyone who can take their dog running with them! I’ve tried to take my mom’s black lab with me, and we always seem to be either sprinting or me tugging him along while he tries to make friends with various squirrels, rabbits, chipmunks, blowing leaves, etc. It never makes for the most satisfying workout. 😉

Also, you are doing awesome with photography. Love all of these fun photos!

    1. I’m glad you like the puppy pictures! Moxie will be making a guest appearance in a couple of days. 🙂 Sounds like your mom’s dog has his own agenda! Sometimes I feel like just holding on to the leash is enough exercise for one day.

I'd love to hear from you!
