In order to get some more practice, I drove out to Lincoln Park to meet up with my friend Kelsey for a photography adventure. Skirting the coastline of Lake Michigan, we made a few sculptural pals and headed into the Lincoln Park Conservatory to check out some indoor flora, since the great outdoors still isn’t so great. (I’m looking at you, Mother Nature.)
It goes without saying that the Conservatory is just captivating–it houses everything from ancient ferns to the local flowers used in Chicago’s parks–but I was particularly interested in the architecture. I’m such a sucker for anything that was built around the turn of the century!
