Outfit: Into the Blue Again

I’m not gonna lie: I was super stressed and crabby when I took these pictures, and I think it shows.  As much as I love working on this blog, I have bad days–days when work has been tough, when I’m running late to BodyCombat, when the dog is howling at me for no good reason.  This was one of those days.

That being said, all day, I was thinking about how much I liked this outfit, so despite the crappy feelings, I wanted so much to document it.  I just wish I could have done it more justice.

Lately, it seems like I’ve been into very soft colors, so the addition of a deep, sapphire blue skirt was a little shock that I really liked.  I just kept going with it, adding in the crimson smoking loafers, and despite the overall effect being a little patriotic, I think the combination works without looking silly or garish.

  1. Very cute outfit! I love the color of your skirt, and your purse is adorable. I hope your day is going better than the day these pictures were taken (however, I don’t think you look crabby at all in this post!)

    Cheers!
