This outfit is a little out of the ordinary for me. I work for a company that doesn’t allow its female employees to wear shoulder-baring tops, so wearing a miniskirt during office hours is definitely out of the question. Outside of work, a large proportion of my time is spent at the gym, in liquid leggings and witty tanks, so again, a miniskirt will not do.
Now that I’m looking at these pictures, though, I have realized how much of a shame that is. For God’s sake, look at those legs! I really need to show them off more. Dammit, the people deserve it.
Just so things don’t get too risque, I kept the rest of my body covered up with the coziest flannel button-down. Now, it’s nice and warm, but the real reason I love it is because it doesn’t gap at all when I button it. Normally, this is a major issue for me since, as a woman of small stature, certain things don’t fit me like they should. This shirt, though. This shirt is why I love thrifting.
Speaking of thrift, that’s where my boots came from, too. The pair I have on in the photos is Pair 1. I wore them out so much that I actually bought a second, nicer pair. I still love these ones for that well-worn and well-loved look.
I spent $50 at the thrift store last week and came home with a giant bagful of goodies, so expect to see those soon.
