I had been trying to brainstorm ideas for places to shoot, and as I drove around town, I realized that there are so many locations I’d never even seen, all right around the corner.  I even came across a vintage train station, but unfortunately I was already a little too chilly to take my tripod over there.

My outfit has almost nothing new to it, and I mean that very literally.  The cardigan and t-shirt were both thrifted, and one of my necklaces–the arrowhead one–was made by my mom’s friend way back in the ’90s.  And those shorts, well, they saw me through college.

It’s important to remind yourself why you picked those clothes all that time ago.  So many times, I find myself getting tired of the clothes I already own and then go off on a shopping expedition.  It’s so unnecessary–all it takes is one or two little things to rejuvenate what you’ve already got.  So yeah, I’ve worn the same shorts-shirt-cardigan combo any number of times, but when you throw a heeled boot at it, it becomes something a little more…oomphy.  In this case, the boots give my legs just that little extra sexiness.  That and all the BodyPump classes I’ve been taking lately.
